Nautical Long Beach
The city of Long Beach is often over-looked and under-valued by Angelenos. I may be biased--I lived there for over four years--but it is one of the best cities in Southern California. It is close to LA without being far, but it's its own microcosm full of charming neighborhoods, cute boutiques, and foodie bistros to explore. But...I diverge. This post is not about how great the LBC is--it's about a great photo shoot in a great location!
When this family wanted to do a photo shoot in Long Beach, I was (obviously) thrilled to have an excuse to work there. We did this session in Shoreline Village, not far from the continually reviving downtown area. There are boardwalks, palm trees, boats AND a lighthouse. Perfect for a nautical alternative to a beach location.
